Understanding integrated audit universe

The Integrated Audit universe page displays a comprehensive view of how the audit universe is seamlessly connected with other apps on the Diligent One Platform such as Org Structure and Risk Manager. The audit universe is populated based on the organizational units and processes defined and linked to org units in these platforms.

This integration allows for a more efficient audit planning process by reducing the need for manual entries.

Navigating the integrated audit universe

The Integrated Audit universe page is an explanatory dashboard that appears only if no audit universe has been defined.

On the Audit home page, select the Define audit universe button under the Audit universe tile. The Integrated Audit universe page appears displaying the benefits, org structure, and process library.

• Discover org structure The Org structure is a central repository in the Diligent One Platform. It visually maps your business units and their relationships. Select the View org structure link to view the list of organizational units available for you to define the audit universe.

• Process library This library provides seamless collaboration and real-time visibility into your business processes. Select the Visit Process Library link to view the collection of processes that are used to populate your audit universe.

  To access process library, you must have subscription to the Risk Manager app in Diligent One Platform along with the required access rights.
